From Joe's hand writing I think I will pick a sans serif font to manipulate, this is due to the curves within his own handwriting show clarity/clean swooping lines without serifs and spaced well (kerning).
Once paired with another person from our class we were to ask a series of questions to gain more knowledge of their personality and character: Joe Auckland answered...
Questions borrowed and adapted from the

Cars & Mechanics
Joe said that he likes rebuilding and taking the fragmented parts of cars before fixing them and improving. (He also loves drift cars)

Mechanics usually have personality traits which include:
Problem-Solving Skills
Good mechanics can quickly suggest possible ways of addressing problems. They should be able to find the best solution in a limited amount of time.
Solid Work Ethic
A great mechanic has a solid work ethic. He is committed to quickly solving and repairing problems and is honest with customers.
Strong Technical Aptitude
Mechanics should be able to use a variety of technical tools to diagnose and address a wide variety of vehicular problems.
Up-to-Date Technology
Vehicles and technology are continually evolving, and great mechanics stay on top of these changes so they can best serve their customers. As hybrids become more popular, for example, mechanics will be knowledgeable on the most common problems or what could be the most common problems.

Maths & Geometric Shapes

Joe likes set grids, patterns geometric shapes and straight lines. This could indicate that he is ordered, hard working, efficient and perhaps contain elements of perfectionism. This could also suggest that visually Joe may enjoy clean cut, minimalistic design which is modern and designed with vectors.
Architecture
Joe stated that he likes modern Swedish architecture.

After looking at photographs of general architecture in Sweden it is clear that Joe likes angles and modern design in all forms.
Colours:
Joe likes the colours black/white, these colours have many connotations and can link to a vast difference in personality types. The colour black has many connotations but those that I feel are similar to Joe are; self control, discipline, independence and sophistication.
The colour white also contains other connotations; neat and immaculate in your appearance, in the presentation of your home and in your car, almost to the point of being fanatical. You have impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene and you expect others to adhere to your high standards.

Music
Joe also mentioned that he likes house music as a genre which is stereotypically known to be based on electronic music and also follows a similar style to the traits Joe had mentioned earlier about being modern and portraying technology.
