OUGD601: Tutorial 2

From the second tutorial I took a rough draft of the first chapter and received some vital advice for structuring this work and elements to add. I needed to add a proper introduction and conclusion to my first chapter as well as mentioning how these ethical theories relate to graphic design. 

For the practical element I have decided that the brief will be with a small wildlife charity however the main purpose of creating this live brief is evidencing a journal on my reflections of my design practice. 

We also agreed that my second chapter will be on the first things first manifesto so therefore the chapter structure should be as follows:

Introduction

First chapter- How do we define ethics? (ethical theories and how they link to design)

Second: First things first manifesto linked to ethical theories

Others: Two case studies of design studios on their practice

Conclusion 

The first chapter will form as the largest chapter and therefore the most important in being able to use these theories throughout the rest on my dissertation through examples of graphic designs studios and manifestos.
